The Council Chamber at RIBA at 66 Portland Place is part of the original 1934 building and reflects the unique design character of the building. The Council Chamber is an opulent boardroom on the fourth floor and is lined in English and Australian swirl walnut and Canadian maple with banquette seating on all four sides.
The chamber is the perfect setting for VIP boardroom meetings for up to 30 people with its integrated electronic projection screen, centrally programmable lighting, external blinds, and PA system.
It’s also available as an exclusive venue for intimate dinners of up to 18 people, providing an incredibly unique dining experience.
The chamber, its anteroom and the landing can be combined to create a memorable setting for receptions of up to 80 people. The roof terrace overlooking the RIBA Architectural Library is also accessible on the same floor and is ideal for summer receptions.
